Symptoms

- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Transmission will not shift gears.

Possible Causes

- Low transmission fluid level - Dirty transmission fluid - Faulty Low Reverse solenoid valve - Low Reverse solenoid valve harness or connectors - Low Reverse solenoid valve circuit is open or shorted

When Detected

The P0750 code is detected when TCM detects three consecutive solenoid continuity test failures, or one failure if test is run in response to a gear ratio or pressure switch error

Description

The Low Reverse (LR) is monitored at initially power-up, then every 10 seconds thereafter. The solenoids will also be tested immediately after a gear ratio or pressure switch error is detected.
